Azalea earned her Associate's Degree in Communications from Northampton Community College and her Bachelor's in Arts Degree in Communication, and Rhetoric with a minor in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. After spending four years on the business side of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, she shifted to inclusive excellence and belonging work in higher education.
At the Gender, Leadership and Empowerment Center, Azalea works with the Equity Reps to support their passion projects, manages the center's day-to-day administrative duties, and ensures that all members of the Lehigh community and beyond know they can connect with us in any capacity.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, critiquing movies, finding new home DIY projects, trying to figure out gardening, and earning an MA in English at Lehigh as a part-time student.
